Zoom r16 drivers for mac. With the release of Microsoft Expression 3 this week, Microsoft has also finally released the Deep Zoom Composer. As of version 2, Silverlight includes a feature called Deep Zoom, which attempts to make browsing images, no matter how large or how many, a speedy, seamless, and smooth experience. The Deep Zoom Composer is a tool used for preparing content to use with Silverlight's Deep Zoom feature.
There's no reason that you couldn't host a Deep Zoom site on Linux / Apache (and could view the site on Linux, Mac, and of course Windows). Customization The fact that Deep Zoom is built in as a native Silverlight element - a primitive, like an image or a textbox) means that you have full control over how it works, including user interface. The deep zoom tiles can then be accessed by clicking on a tile to open a Silverlight MultiScaleImage. This approach seems like a simple method for expanding coverage over a larger metropolitan area while still using the somewhat limiting Deep Zoom Composer pre release. Jul 22, 2010 We are pleased to present Deep Zoom Composer, a tool to allow the preparation of images for use with the Deep Zoom feature in Silverlight 3. The new Deep Zoom technology in Silverlight allows users to see images on the Web like they never have before. The smooth in-place zooming and panning that Deep Zoom allows is a true advancement and raises.
Version 1.0 of the Deep Zoom Composer (4.95MB) is finally available on the Microsoft Download Center. As always, Microsoft asks that you uninstall all existing versions of Deep Zoom Composer before installing the new version.

Microsoft is outlining five new features in the final release:
- Analytics Tracking: this release of Deep Zoom Composer enhances the support for analytics tracking exposed in an earlier release. Specify tracking URLs that will silently get called when you zoom in on an image or region (and it's fairly customizable).
- Improved DeepZoomPix Player: the enhanced player Deep Zoom Composer uses has been ported over to the online DeepZoomPix service. You can now upload your Deep Zoom creations and view/share them with others while maintaining any interactivity you may have added to your images.
- Go Further with your Exported Content: it's extremely easy for you to go from having a Deep Zoom composition to something you can edit in Expression Blend or Visual Studio. Based on user feedback, the default list of templates has been expanded to include more templates that contain source files.
- Revamped UI: One of the first things you may notice by looking at Deep Zoom Composer is the more refined look. The subtle UI changes should make it easier for you to work with your content.
- Support for Smooth Streaming: Smooth Streaming is an extension available to IIS web servers where you can easily stream content using adaptive streaming. Deep Zoom Composer now allows you to export your images into a form that is optimized for use on servers enabled with the technology.
The online documentation on MSDN has not yet been updated to reflect the new features, but Microsoft says it will be soon enough. In the meantime, you can check out the Deep Zoom Composer forums for more information.
Deep Zoom has been put to use in a few places, like the Hard Rock Caf Memorabilia webpage and in the Deep Zoom Obama website.

The start of August has brought along with it an update to the Deep Zoom Composer. According to Microsoft, the new version of the Deep Zoom Composer serves to resolve stability issues, to kick quality up a notch by delivering bug fixes and enhanced performance. Additionally, the new iteration of the solution delivers extra features unavailable in previous releases such as Panoramic Stitching and PhotoZoom Upload. The Deep Zoom Composer works in conjunction with the Deep Zoom technology featured in Silverlight 2 Beta 2.
Panoramic Stitching, a technology developed by Microsoft Research and included into Windows Live Photo Gallery, has now made it all the way into the Deep Zoom Composer. All that end users have to do is select a series of images that feature similar characteristics and create a panoramic photo. The stitching process is entirely automatic, users having a say only in the segment of the final image which they will want to save as the panoramic photo.
'Microsoft Live Labs PhotoZoom is designed to let users show off their photos with Deep Zoom and Silverlight by allowing users to upload their Deep Zoom collections to the web. To upload my collection, all I needed to do was login using my Windows Live ID in Deep Zoom Composer under 'PhotoZoom Export'. Before you are able to upload a collection, you must first go to the Microsoft Live Labs PhotoZoom website and login to create an account associated with your Windows Live ID,' revealed Microsoft's Brandon LeBlanc.
The updated Deep Zoom Composer will permit end users to set up new albums on the Microsoft Live Labs Incubation Platform website and upload their content while controlling the quality of the images. Via PhotoZoom, users are able to leverage the Embed option for the uploaded collections stored on the website.
'Our PhotoZoom Upload functionality inside Deep Zoom Composer is causing some uploads to not fully finish before timing out, and we hope to have a fix for this really soon. (..) If you are receiving a 401 error when attempting to upload to PhotoZoom, please try again in a short while. There may be some temporary glitches as we deal with some issues related to this,' explained a member of the DZC Team.
